L'ENCHANTEUR: A VISUAL MIXTAPE

L'Enchanteur is a unifying and powerful story that reflects on the beauty of sisterhood. The film was created for Hulu's Black History Month series Your Attention Please, which showcases inspiring Black artists, talent, and voices on the come up.

L’Enchanteur explores the creative philosophy behind twin sister design duo Soull and Dynasty Ogun. Their brand, L'Enchanteur, is a creative incubator inspired by the sciences, color theory, numerology, religion, mythologies, magic, and fairy tales.

“I wanted to take a non-conventional approach to the telling of Soull and Dynasty’s story by utilizing a stylized documentary approach to the narrative structure, combining scripted elements with a more traditional interview. The story weaves together a number of vignettes that are representative of Soull & Dynasty’s influences, inspirations and passions. The film acts as a ‘Visual Mixtape’ that explores contemporary, past and future black aesthetics.” - dayday
